Definition
A Rock Fall barrier systems are an engineered structure that provide rockfall protection by stopping falling rocks: They absorb the kinetic energy of the rocks, block their trajectory, and detain them before they can cause damage . Clients can design their own barrier, but most elect to purchase a proprietary system from a supplier, which the client simply needs to install on site. The fence normally requires minor site preparation and rock anchors for support.
